He also vowed to keep Nathan\u2019s talent and legacy alive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">27-year-old Nathan was remembered as a kind, thoughtful, and passionate young man who was not only involved in music but also a graduate of New York University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lil Jon thanked fans and friends for their condolences and disclosed how profoundly the loss has affected him, noting that \u201clife will never be the same\u201d without his son.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Nathan Murray Smith, who performed as DJ Young Slade, was reported missing on 3 February 2026 after leaving his Georgia home under unusual circumstances without his phone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After a multi-day search, a body believed to be Nathan\u2019s was recovered by divers from a pond near his home in Milton, Georgia on 6 February.
